Front Desk Dental Receptionist (DENTAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED)

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner - Answer phone calls - Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar - Check-in patients, verify insurance information, and collect necessary paperwork - Assist with dental administrative support tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining patient records - Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality - Provide general office support including faxing, scanning, and photocopying documents - Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations of the front desk
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar role is preferred (dental assisting) - Proficiency in using phone systems and handling multiple phone lines - Knowledge of medical administrative support tasks and front desk operations - Familiarity with dental terminology and electronic health record systems - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally - Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines Note:
