Clinical Therapist Needed

Bridgeline Staffing is currently seeking multiple contracted Clinical Therapist to join our team at a Special Education school in Newton, NHThe ideal candidate will have a passion for working with students, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff
Qualifications:
- Licensed in Counseling or Clinical Mental Health Counseling - Participates in TCIS Training and is capable of implementing the physical restraint techniqueMust be able to meet physical demands of position, (lifting, carrying, squatting, climbing, running, swimming and restraining students)
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the counseling program for the assigned group of students - Responsible for the on-going assessment and analysis of pertinent therapy (individual and group) for assigned students - Develops and maintains all pertinent records for the group of assigned students - Assists the agency's teachers and support service personnel with classroom/behavior management skill development - Oversees the development and implementation of all counseling therapy-related objectives as may be contained in each assigned student's Individualized Education Plan - Assists in helping to develop and attain mainstreamed/integration objectives for assigned students - Overseas the preparation of quarterly and year-end reports for the assigned group of students - Assists in developing and maintaining thorough and effective communications with parents of assigned students - Participates and assists in the planning, implementation, and assessment of counseling internship programs that may be assigned by the agency - Assists in the design and provision of pertinent in-service training programs for agency staff, local district staff, parents, and/or school district administrators - Participates in planning and implementing pertinent staff and/or team meetings including those that might be held with local district representatives relative to placement, review, transition and/or termination of services to assigned students - Cooperates with program staff in assessing existing programs, the need for changes or new programs, and in the identification and achievement of long term goals - Develops, implements, and monitors personal professional growth goals and performance objectives for each academic year - Participates in pertinent team meetings, placement meetings, staff development/review sessions - Submits all pertinent reports in a timely fashion - Performs other duties as may be required by the Program Director and/or Co Directors
