Essential Duties and Responsibilities General expectations for our housekeeping attendants will be as follows:
You will be expected to meet all cleanliness requirements and to do so in the allotted time frame.
This cleaning will typically be conducted in guest rooms, but may encompass all other areas of the hotel if/when needed.
When performing cleaning duties it is imperative that attention to detail is one of your highest priorities.
You will be dusting, removing garbage, wiping down all hard surfaces, removing and replacing linen items on a routine basis.
In order to ensure a smooth operation it will be important to ensure your housekeeping cart remains clean, stocked, and organized at all times.
On the occasion that a guest requests something directly from you, we must be sure to respond courteously and promptly to any questions or requests they may have.
Should you happen to come across any maintenance issues, you must be sure to report them to maintenance.
That being said, there will likely be occasions where you will be asked to plunge a toilet, change a lightbulb, unclog a drain, or things of that nature.
Though this is a general list of what expectations are for this position, it is not all inclusive and you will be asked to complete any/all additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications Preferred qualifications for this position include the following.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with team members as well as guests.
Given that you will be expected to learn brand standards such as the number of cups or pieces of linen belong in a room, strong organizational skills and attention to detail are key to finding success.
Occasionally, you will need to be able to handle stressful situations with poise and professionalism.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
