Store Manager

Our client is looking for a Store Manager to oversee their Onalaska paint store staff and activities to achieve a profitable store location and interact with the company's customers.
This person will be addressing inquiries and provide guidance about products while delivering the highest level of customer service utilizing the Love/Serve/Care culture.
Hours:
7 am to 5:
30 M-F; 8 am to noon on Saturdays (may vary but typically 48 hours per week on average)Pay:
$25-30 per hour, depending on qualificationsLocation:
OnalaskaOur client proudly stands alone as the only remaining Wisconsin-based paint manufacturer making our own paint that we sell in our own stores.
Our practice of local production, producing goods for Wisconsin in Wisconsin, minimizes the expenses and harmful effects of otherwise transporting our goods thousands of miles.
We currently have 27 store locations spread throughout the state, each one staffed with great people and selling quality paint products.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES &
Responsibilities:
o Oversees staff and fulfills staffing needs for regular hours, as well as special events or high-traffic times.
o Oversees the daily workflow of the store.
o Maintains and motivates a positive sales team through communication, incentives, and evaluations.
o Confirms daily sales reports and cash receipts; ensures monies are deposited regularly, and reports are submitted as prescribed by company policies.
o Addresses customer needs and resolves issues, ensuring positive and long-term customer relationships.
o Ensures inventory data is correct by performing spot inventory counts and checks as well as annual inventory duties.
o Maintain strong relationships with store customers by providing excellent customer service.
o Ensures proper handling of customer orders, identifying new customers, and working with the Credit department to ensure that customers are served in the most appropriate manner.
o Adhering to company policy regarding tasks such as the daily cash report, the daily bank deposit, placing the store paint re-order, handling POS procedures, and performing the opening and/or closing procedures.
o Proactively assist the sales representative in acquiring new business to grow the locations market and increase sales.
o Maintain an overall professional, courteous attitude towards customers and fellow employees.
o Greet and assist all customers in store and over the phone.
o Learn and understand all store products to answer customer inquiries.
o Assist in overall cleanliness of store, both inside and outside, when requested by supervisor.
o Assist in loading and unloading company vehicles when requested or assigned by supervisor.
o Check in store inventory and restock products as needed.
o Maintain store delivery vehicle.
o Accurate tinting of product and loading of delivery vehicle.
o Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS &
Experience:
o 3-5 years of retail or sales experience in the industry is required.
o Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
o Organized with attention to detail.
o Works well under pressure and deadlines; ability to multitask.
o Strong leadership and management skills with ability to motivate staff.
o Excellent customer service abilities.
o Ability to develop and maintain budgets.
o Thorough understanding of company policies and practices.
o Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
o Ability to lift up to 60lbs frequently.
