This Insurance Sales Agent - Personal Lines (aka Personal Lines Producer) role will service our individual clients to provide them with insurance options that best cover their personal insurance needs.
This role will primarily focus on finding new business clients and meeting sales goals, but will also work to maintain an existing book of clients (with the help of our Personal Lines account support team).
This role plays a key part in providing high-level and proactive service to clients, while maintaining a positive client relationship with exceptional customer support.
(NOTE:
Candidates for this role MUST be able to work out of our Onalaska, WI office.
This role has the opportunity to work hybrid.
Current insurance industry experience and license is strongly preferred.
) In this Insurance Sales Agent role, the expectations are as follows:
Essential Job Functions:
Identify and qualify new prospective clients via networking, calling, mailings, emails, referrals, etc.
Conduct annual reviews with clients, including account rounding with current clients.
Ability to find and fix problems and communicate with clients, prospects, vendors and teammates in order to build and maintain relationships and trust.
Work regularly with teammates to be sure existing and new business is organized and clients/prospects are being strongly and efficiently connected and communicated with.
Demonstrate product knowledge as part of a proven solution and strategy.
Grow book of business by referrals and cross-selling.
Continue with personal goals, learning and education.
Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related area; or two or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Previous selling experience involving filling the pipeline and cold calls to customers Proficiency with MS Office software products Hold an Insurance License or ability to acquire a license within 90 days of employment Ability to attain and maintain a high level of product knowledge and policy coverage understanding to support the businesses, TRICOR staff and the independent brokers of TRICOR Ability to represent TRICOR, as directed, on both new sales and on a renewal basis to potentially include prior to the sale, during proposal presentation or in a service role after the sale Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with internal and external customers Work independently and willing to assist others when needed Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality Must hold a valid driver's license Preferred
